UV-C Disinfection
Effectively zap all microorganisms, mold, bacteria, pathogens and viruses by up to 99.99% with the Beam Self-Cleaning UV Water Bottle from UVBrite. The cap is equipped with a top-grade quartz lens featuring a built-in LED that emits a special spectrum of light without the use of toxic Mercury to purify and disinfect the water. Unlike filters that only trap microorganisms, UV-C disinfection or ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) works by breaking down certain chemical bonds and scrambling the structure of DNA, RNA and proteins. Crafted of food-grade materials, this cap is also outfitted with a silicone gasket to ensure a 360-degree, leak-proof seal – making it the perfect choice for home, travel and emergency use. Please note: UV-C disinfection does not eliminate physical impurities in the water, so only consume clear water.
Fill, Twist and Activate
Purifying water from any drinking source couldn’t be easier. Just fill the Self-Cleaning Bottle with water, twist on the cap and press the button on top once to activate the UV-C disinfection. The normal disinfection mode lasts for 90 seconds and can be used to ensure that water from most sources is purified. Once activated, the LED indicator will flash blue and stay on while the cycle is running. If you’re drinking stream water or water from sources that require greater purification, press the button twice to activate the blitz mode. This mode lasts for 180 seconds and the LED indicator will flash magenta and stay on while the cycle is running. To manually switch the cycle off, press the button once or open the lid. It provides up to 100 purification cycles per charge, allowing you to enjoy more than 2,400 ounces of purified water before having to charge it back up again. A flashing red light indicates disinfection has not taken place.

Automatic Cleaning
UVBrite’s Beam Self-Cleaning Water Bottle boasts an intelligent self-cleaning mode, activating a purification cycle every 4 hours to ensure the bottle and water inside are constantly purified. Self-Cleaning mode also switches on after every cycle is run and continues to operate for 24 hours after the lid is last opened. It will then cease to function unless the lid is reopened and either the Normal or Blitz cycle is run. This function lasts for 90 seconds and the LED will flash a dimmer blue.
Getting Started
Before first use, thoroughly clean the Beam Self-Cleaning Water Bottle and lid using warm soapy water. Next, use the included USB-C cable to fully charge up the lid. It will take approximately 2.5 hours to obtain a full charge. The LED indicator will flash green while the cap is charging, then switch off automatically when fully charged. Now the Beam Water Bottle is good to go.
